White Rose Welcomes Families to a Free Easter Woodland Adventure

Shoppers are being invited to enjoy a packed programme of free family activities, woodland-themed crafts and Easter entertainment at White Rose Shopping Centre.

White Rose Shopping Centre is inviting families to step into a woodland wonderland this Easter with a free programme of craft activities, interactive attractions and all-weather entertainment. Running until Sunday 12 April, the Easter offering is designed to give children and parents a fun-filled day out during the school holidays, with free woodland-themed crafting sessions taking place daily from 10am to 4pm in the Central Atrium, near the escalators leading to The Balcony and The Village.

Young visitors can enjoy a range of nature-inspired activities, including decorating masks and creating their own treasure chests, as White Rose transforms part of the centre into a creative woodland adventure space aimed at sparking imaginations.

Ashleigh Kellett, Deputy Centre Director at White Rose Shopping Centre said:

“Our free craft sessions are always a hit with families, offering a fun, all-weather activity for all ages to enjoy. With an invitation to get creative with make-and-take activities plus a very special larger-than-life bear visiting White Rose this April, it’s sure to be a fantastic experience for our guests.”

Adding to the seasonal excitement is a striking 2.5m-tall bear statue, which is now on display in the centre. Visitors of all ages are being encouraged to snap a photo with the eye-catching installation for the chance to win a £100 White Rose gift card.

As well as the free Easter crafts, families can make the most of a wide variety of attractions across the shopping centre, whatever the weather. Visitors can enjoy activities and entertainment at venues including King Pins, The Escapologist and Cineworld, making White Rose a one-stop destination for an Easter day out. On sunnier days, families can also head to The Village, where they can relax over food and drink while children enjoy the centre’s play area, which is suitable for a range of ages.

The Easter woodland adventure forms part of White Rose’s wider family-friendly offering, with organisers hoping the mix of free activities, photo opportunities and leisure attractions will encourage visitors to make lasting memories over the holiday period.
