LEGO Group Announces 23 April Opening Date for New Trinity Leeds Store

Excitement is building in Leeds as the LEGO Group has confirmed the opening date for its new store at Trinity Leeds, bringing interactive experiences, exclusive displays and hands-on activities for shoppers of all ages.

The launch will mark the arrival of a new destination for LEGO fans in the heart of the city, with shoppers set to enjoy a range of interactive experiences and hands-on activities. The new shop will officially open its doors on Thursday, 23 April, welcoming visitors into a dedicated space designed to celebrate creativity, imagination and play in the heart of the city centre.

Spanning 456 square metres, the store will offer shoppers an immersive LEGO experience, with specially designed Yorkshire-inspired LEGO models on display for visitors to see and pose with on launch day. The new-look store will also feature a ‘Pick a Brick Wall’, giving shoppers the chance to search for individual pieces to complete a favourite set, begin a brand-new creation or personalise an existing build.

Steven Foster, Centre Director at Trinity Leeds said:

“The new LEGO store is bigger and better than ever before with some incredible interactive elements that will allow creativity and imaginations to flourish. As the only LEGO store in West Yorkshire, it has already proved incredibly popular here at Trinity Leeds, and this new store will bring even more of what LEGO fans love.”

Alongside the opening, visitors will be able to take part in free build challenges and in-store events aimed at inspiring the next generation of builders through hands-on play. Shoppers will also have the chance to create their own LEGO Minifigures by mixing and matching from a wide selection of pieces, while Brick Specialists will be on hand throughout the store to offer expert advice and guidance.

The arrival of the new LEGO store is expected to prove popular with families, collectors and LEGO fans across the region, adding another major attraction to Trinity Leeds’ retail offering.

The opening is set to mark a major moment for LEGO fans in Leeds, with launch day expected to draw crowds eager to explore the new store and its interactive features www.trinityleeds.com
