“We are really delighted by the results of the jobs fair held at The Point in White Rose Shopping Centre, which saw 266 people present on the day subsequently secure both full time and part time jobs.
“We are always looking at new and innovative ways to make sure that people have the opportunity to access job employment activities that are available in the city. As part of our programme of activities this includes holding a range of job fairs, which again featuring a major event at the first direct arena this year, have always proved to be extremely popular and well received by both the public and employers.
“The Point which is based at White Rose Shopping Centre is a brilliant resource not just for people looking for jobs but also employers. A range of support is available and already they are displaying some of the vacancies available through the new proposed extension at White Rose Shopping Centre which is fantastic and certainly worth a look.
“As always I would like to offer a big thank you to all our partners and employers, who play such an important role in ensuring that events like these are a real success.”
