The Leeds United Foundation will be hosting an exciting and exclusive skydiving challenge on Friday 28th April to raise as much money as they can to support some of our fantastic community programmes.
The club’s official charity aims to use the power of football to enhance the lives of people across our region through opportunities in sport, education, and healthier lifestyles. Through this fundraising challenge, where there are limited spaces available, we hope to be able to support as many people as possible in our local community and further afield through the variety of health, wellbeing, education, and sports participation initiatives.
We use the power of Leeds United to support and inspire those who live in our place. We do this through a range of activities including health and social education in primary and secondary schools, community volunteering, sports participation for everyone, we enable young people to make Positive Choices about their lives and futures, and we combat loneliness and sadness for all age groups including with our Corner Flag Café, Veterans group and over 50’s social club. We constantly adapt and evolve our offer to meet the needs of our community.
This is a challenge to tick off your bucket list and could be the perfect opportunity to take on that new and exciting challenge you have been telling yourself to do this year. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity like no other and feedback from last year’s participants was incredible. So, you’re interested in this mesmerising sport we call skydiving? There’s no better place to do it than in Yorkshire. Our skydive club is based just north of the coastal resort of Bridlington, East Yorkshire and with our proximity to the coast we offer unrivalled views from the aircraft and throughout the skydive experience.
We specialise in introducing people to the exciting sport of skydiving whether it’s jumping for charity, a one-off experience or something you want to take up as a hobby or sport. As a club we have a growing experienced skydiver scene too with some of the cheapest experienced jump tickets around.
We are affiliated to and governed by British Skydiving (formally the British Parachute Association) which has a worldwide reputation for safety within the sport. All of our instructors are British Skydiving approved and have passed the rigorous instructor training courses and assessments provided by the association.
