Swiss art collective PROJEKTIL is set to debut its spectacular light and sound show Enlightenment by EONARIUM in Yorkshire this summer.
Following praised performances in Glasgow and Liverpool, the immersive experience will arrive at Leeds City Museum on 3 July. Audiences will be transported on a mesmerizing 360º journey through vivid visuals and rich soundscapes, all inspired by Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. Tickets for this unique event are now available via Fever.
Brought to life by the Zurich-based artist collective PROJEKTIL in partnership with Fever, Enlightenment offers a visually and spiritually uplifting experience. Set within Leeds City Museum, the show transforms the space into a captivating sensory journey, combining vibrant light projections with the timeless beauty of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. PROJEKTIL has reimagined Vivaldi’s compositions with bespoke arrangements and recordings, infusing classical music with a modern flair to heighten the immersive atmosphere.
The 30-minute immersive installation unfolds in a series of scenes, each designed for relaxation and reflection. Guests are invited to sit back on plush cushioned chairs or bean bags as they gaze up at breathtaking projections that illuminate the ceiling and walls. The journey offers a fresh, awe-inspiring perspective on the four seasons — spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
It then ventures beyond Earthly rhythms into two final cosmic chapters: ‘Samsara’, drawn from Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain traditions, representing the endless cycle of rebirth and suffering; and ‘Nirvana’, symbolising the ultimate liberation and enlightenment beyond that cycle. This thought-provoking experience is perfect for visitors of all ages — children, adults, families, and friends alike.
