This summer, football returns to the heart of Leeds City Center as Millennium Square transforms into a bustling Euro 2024 Fanzone.
Fans of the beautiful game will have the opportunity to support England’s quest for glory, watching Gareth Southgate and his team compete on a high-definition, giant LED screen. The excitement begins with England’s group stage matches, starting with a face-off against Serbia on Sunday, June 16th at 8pm, followed by Denmark on Thursday, June 20th at 5pm, and wrapping up with Slovenia on Tuesday, June 25th at 8pm.
Should England advance past the group stages, the round of 16 knock-out game will also be screened, scheduled for either Saturday, June 29th, or Sunday, June 30th. Join fellow supporters at Millennium Square for all the major match action live as the nation rallies behind its team.
The Euro 2024 Fanzone event at Millennium Square is an advance ticket-only and standing-only event. Gates will open approximately one and a half hours before each England match. Attendees can enjoy the lively atmosphere of a specially arranged outdoor area, which includes a licensed bar, a variety of street food options, and toilet facilities.
Tickets are priced at £5 per person, inclusive of booking fees. They can be purchased online at www.millsqleeds.com or by calling 0113 376 0318, with a limit of four tickets per person. The event welcomes fans aged 14 and older, and all under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Millennium Square is committed to accessibility; the venue features a raised viewing platform and disabled toilet facilities. For more detailed accessibility information and companion ticket inquiries, please visit the venue’s website or contact Leeds Ticket Hub directly.
Millennium Square will screen additional Euro 2024 matches live, wherever possible, on days not designated for specific events. However, fans should be aware that due to the Summer Series concerts beginning in July, any Euro 2024 matches that coincide with concert dates will not be shown at Millennium Square, unless explicitly stated otherwise. This adjustment ensures a seamless experience for both football fans and concert-goers throughout the summer.
Councillor Jonathan Pryor, Leeds City Council’s deputy leader and executive member for economy, culture and education said:
“The atmosphere on Millennium Square is always fantastic and it’s a great place for fans to really come together and enjoy the action over the summer. Leeds is a city that’s always had a massive passion for sport, and I know the fans will do England proud as we cheer them on in what will hopefully be a memorable tournament for the whole country.”
